First Nation Cultural Presentations
Every Saturday this summer, Coast Salish community members share their knowledge about aspects of Indigenous culture and history.
July 22, 12noon-4pm, features Wayne Point (Musqueam First Nation) sharing information on Indigenous Archeology.
Wayne Point is a Musqueam community member and an archaeologist. By learning from Musqueam’s oral histories and ancient belongings, he is learning to make tools used by his ancestors. Wayne currently works for the Musqueam First Nation as an Archaeology Technician/Field Worker.
