Then and Now

Our Summer Season starts May 6, 2017

Visit businesses and homes, take in demonstrations explore on you own or join a guide tour. Period costumed interpreters welcome you an give demonstrations in many of the buildings. Awaken your senses - feel the hear of the fire at the forge, hear the rhythmic sounds of the press at the print shop, listen to the lessons in the schoolhouse and stop to smell the flowers at Love Farmhouse.

To celebrate Burnaby's 125th, our Stride Studio exhibit is Then and Now - a show of historic photographs showing how the community has changed over the past 125 years. It features historic photographs of well-known landmarks, presented alongside present-day photographs of the same locations. The top image: Sixth Street at 12th Avenue, 1905 (right), 2017 (left).
