Heritage Fair 2018

Work First:

  • projects are set up
  • judges chat with the students and evaluate their presentations

Then the fun begins:

  • Rides around the Village in a 1924 Model T 
  • A Bee Station hosted by the Beekeepers Association
  • Indigenous Activities
  • Carousel Rides
  • Charlie Chaplin Movies and Cartoons

Closing Ceremonies

Students are recognized and awards handed-out during a formal ceremony held at the Bandstand at 3:30pm. Representatives, from our region, who will go on to the Provincial Fair are announced.

1920s lingo - they are 'the bees knees'!

Extra directional help is needed for all the activities today!
Student presentations are set up in the Real Estate Office, Brookfield Hall and in the Carousel Activity Room. Check them all out!  

*A Heritage Fair is similar to a science fair, except that students do their projects on Canadian history and heritage.
