Your guide to the Village!

Come prepared to stroll the streets of the village; stopping in and out of the buildings to watch demonstrations and talk to the costumed townsfolk.

For 2013, the City of Burnaby invites all to enjoy FREE gate admission.

Carousel rides are only $2.21 per ride for all ages. (Note: there is a charge for our special programs - the Spring Break Scavenger Hunt & Haunted Village). For more information, call 604-297-4565.

2013 Summer Season

Tuesday-Sunday plus Statutory Holidays
May 4 - September 2
(11:00am-4:30pm)
Gate admission is FREE, Carousel rides $2.21 each

Exhibits: Visitors experience the golden age of radio. The Museum is setting up a radio station in one of its exhibit buildings, and transmitting to vintage radios located throughout the village. Archival sound recordings featured as well as live performances and on the spot interviews with Museum visitors. Hands-on displays and activities will provide opportunities to learn about early radio technology, including creating sound effects.

  • the Ice Cream Parlour (restaurant)
  • picnic tables
Note: Pets are not allowed onsite.
