Step into a world of enchantment and mystery at Burnaby Village Museum’s Haunted Village: Legends, Tales, and Other Stories. This year, we bring to life some of the most beloved and timeless tales from around the globe.

Wander through our 10-acre open-air site and encounter characters and scenes from:
- Alice in Wonderland: Follow the White Rabbit and meet the whimsical inhabitants of Wonderland at the Band Stand and join the Mad Hatter for nightly dance parties.
- Sleeping Beauty: Witness the magic and romance of this classic fairy tale at Elworth and the Home Bakery.
- Little Mermaid: Journey under the sea to encounter friends and foes at the Tram Barn.
- Momotaro: Discover the adventures of Japan’s Peach Boy and his quest to defeat the ogres at the Ofuro.
- Rama and Sita: Immerse yourself in the epic love story from the Ramayana within the windows at the Stride building.
- The Monkey King: Join the legendary Monkey King on his journey at the Herbalist.
- Plus, many more stories to discover.
Activities Include:
- Indigenous storytelling: Enjoy live storytelling sessions at Brookfield Hall.
- Vancouver Circus School performance: Witness their amazing skill and athleticism at Vorce Tram Station.
- Dance party: join DJ Mad Hatter for a dance party on Hill Street.
- Food and drink: Savor delicious Halloween themed treats and warm beverages available for purchase at Mai’s Café.
- Please note: the Carousel will not be in operation during Haunted Village.
